about

This is the first Karen Eliot release, a freely improvised sound/noise collage without predefined rules, recorded on november 1st, 2006. This album is the unedited live recording of that improvisation.

The first track (01-11-2006a) was recorded by He Who Ha Ha a short while before Luther Blissett joined him for the second part (01-11-2006b) - which has been divided here in 5 shorter tracks for your convenience.

The first part/track of this recording, ’01-11-2006a’, was featured as ‘track 13′ on Mind The Gap 67 – the disc that accompanied dutch (BE) alternative & experimental music magazine Gonzo Circus (nr. 80) in april 2007:

about

Karen Eliot Belgium

Karen Eliot = experimental improvisational project by Luther Blisset and He Who Ha Ha (a brunkville character). Sometimes other people join them. There are no rules or rehearsals: now and then Karen Eliot comes together and improvises – most of those sessions are recorded. Some of them get released.
